Dear Parents,
Happy New Year to you all and welcome back to the new term at St
Peter’s. It has been a tricky start back with some staff unwell, but pupils
have returned happily to class and it is lovely to see them enjoying all
that we can offer despite any difficulties.
One staff absence that I would like to make you aware of is that our
premises officer is sadly unwell. This is a challenging post to cover and
unfortunately there are no relief staff available from Leics LA (due to
many schools being similarly affected). This means that gritting of our
site in the morning (when needed) may not be quite as robust so I urge
you all to take extra care and please do hold onto pre-school children.
Many thanks and on behalf of the whole school team, we very much
look forward to working with you again in 2022.
