Dear Parents

Well the Autumn certainly seems to be upon us, with darker mornings and evenings and a definite change in the weather. Fresh air is so important at playtimes. We want children to continue to enjoy the outdoors and so would like to remind you to send them to school with a warm, waterproof  coat (labelled please).

Thank you to all of those who turned up to our Phonics and Reading Open Mornings. They appear to have been a huge success, with families reporting back on how much they enjoyed coming into school, children saying that they loved having their adults visit them in lessons and teachers appreciative of the opportunity to demonstrate how we teach reading (and how you can help!)

This week we have Ofsted in school. We are proud of our school and all of the hard-working children and adults in it. We are looking forward to an opportunity to show off everything that we do. Don’t forget to fill in your  parents survey or stop and speak to one of our inspectors if you want to share any your feelings about our wonderful school.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Mr B
