Sad Farewells….
As you are aware we are saying sad farewells this term to Mrs Collins and Ms Dunn. In addition to this Ms Abbott will now also be leaving school this term. She had hoped to continue as SENDco for the autumn term but due to a quicker VISA process her circumstances have changed. We wish them all the very best in their new schools, and of course Australia for Ms Abbott, next year.
On a personal note I would like to thank them on behalf of us all for their hard work during their time at St Peter’s and the huge contribution they have made. Of course I also would like to say my own very sad farewell. It has been an absolute privilege to be headteacher of our amazing school for the last 5 and a half years. I have thoroughly enjoyed every day and will hold very close to my heart the special time I spent with the pupils, families and staff here.
I cannot believe how quickly the time has passed and I truly wish I was a little younger!
I am confident that Mr Bolstridge and Mrs Howard, his new deputy, will be fabulous leaders for the school and would like to wish them every happiness and success in their new positions.
