Dear All,
A huge well done to our year 6 pupils this week for their hard work, perseverance and positive attitude during their SATS assessments. Everyone in school is so proud of you and we hope that the results reflect all of your efforts. I was with some groups during the week and I assure families at home that the papers and questions were really challenging….for one grammar question even Mr B was unsure of the answer!!
On behalf of all the children I also wanted to say a big thank you to Mrs Cook and all the staff who were in year 6 supporting pupils over the four days. As always staff had the needs of the children in the forefront of their minds and the daily biscuits, drinks and breaks I know helped them do their best, remain calm and stay focused.
We look forward to the other exciting learning and events that year 6 will be involved with soon, especially the year 5 and 6 show.
