Welcome back to all our families. We hope you all had an enjoyable summer holiday and are looking forward to the new school year ahead.
It has been lovely to see all of our children and families back in school. The children were excited to return and have enjoyed telling us all about what they got up to during their summer holiday break. We have also enjoyed getting to know all the new children who have joined us in Reception. They have all settled in brilliantly.
Teaching staff have been busy setting up their classrooms and shared learning areas over the summer. They have planned and prepared exciting and interesting lessons and activities to engage children in their learning.
One of the main priorities for this coming year is to develop the school site and the grounds. My desire as headteacher is for the site to be as good on the outside as the teaching and learning is in the classroom, and I wanted to make you all aware of this. Please come and see me if you have any ideas or wish to help in any way!
