Embrace Trust Conference
Hi all,
As mentioned previously, the Teacher Training Day on the 29th November allowed all schools in Embrace to come together at Brockington for the first annual conference with its theme of “Nurturing Curiosity”.
This event featured engaging speakers and interactive workshops designed to foster a love of learning and inquisitiveness among students. For the children at St Peter’s, the insights and strategies gained from this conference will be fed forward into our practice. By embracing curiosity-driven learning, teachers can create an environment where our children feel empowered to explore, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. This approach not only enhances academic achievement but also nurtures critical thinking and creativity, equipping your children with essential skills for their future.
I am a big advocate of being part of an academy because of opportunities like this, as well as the wide breadth of knowledge and support that is available. What is even more fantastic is that St Peter’s is now in a position to also take our expertise and help other schools across the Trust.
